Wash Your Hands . . . .
As a nurse, hand hygiene is something we think about every day. Washing your hands is proven to decrease the transmission of germs. As healthcare providers, we wash before we go into our patient’s room and we wash on the way out. Hand hygiene is natural part of our day.

This means we are washing our hands multiple times a day. The products we use in the hospital settings contain harsh chemicals. It’s important to use the soaps, but oh how I wish I could use my handmade soaps during the day.

Our handmade soaps contain skin loving, all natural oils. I am currently working on a soap which contains 100% coconut oil. I am so excited to see how the bars turn out. The soap batter looked so creamy and white!

Well, until healthcare catches on to the benefits of handmade products, I will keep a bar of my solid lotion bars handy and moisturize “PRN” (that’s medical mumbo jumbo for “as needed” 🙂
